Hall of Fame Inductees

The 1988 team coached by Hall of Famer Rick Dreiling was the first Butler team to win the Region 6 Championship. The Grizzlies finished the regular season as Jayhawk Juco Conference West Division Runners-up. Butler went on to win the Western Division Sub-Regional Championship. The Grizzlies then defeated Allen County Community College in Iola to claim the first Region 6 Championship in Butler history. Two players from the team, Billy Hall and Eric Storm have already been inducted individually to the El Dorado Baseball Hall of Fame.
